Medical Alert Jewelry 4U was established in 2009 to help others like us. You see a co-worker developed a life-threatening medical condition, several secondary conditions and multiple allergies to medications. The medical information did not fit on a traditional medical alert ID bracelet, other forms of medical alert jewelry or even one side of an 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper!

Medical Alert Jewelry 4U pursued the development of software that would fit onto a personalized portable USB flash drive, thus, inventing an electronic medical record that could be carried by any person. The idea was to use it in place of traditional medical alert jewelry in case of emergency.

One day while evaluating the competition, we ran across SGMS Corp. and their electronic medical record product. The software was robust and was downloaded onto a 1 GB USB flash drive. Equally important, we could download or upload any information from the doctor’s office or any privately owned files. So, a person could use the USB flash drive for a medical emergency to carry any or all personal medical information; for transferring personal medical records from the doctor’s computer to a personal computer; for carrying appropriate medical records from a primary physician to a specialist; and for housing an original or backup copy of business or personal files.

It is our hope that we can bring an increased quality of life, better living and peace of mind to others just as our co-worker has received by carrying a USB electronic medical alert jewelry with Medi-Chip software - whether on the wrist, around the neck, on a key chain or zipper, or in a pocket or wallet.
